Ozeri~ Turtlemeter and Pedometer~ Review and Giveaway

 Turtlemeter~ My Review

I received two products free of charge to review for Ozeri, the first being the Turtlemeter.
When we first pulled the Turtlemeter out to have a look at it, the Booper was really excited. He immediately was asking to play with his new toy. The turtle was larger than I was expecting. One of the cool things about the Turtlemeter is, it's ready to go straight out of the package! We opened it, and I told the Booper it was for bath time, he ran to the bathroom, and said, "Bath now?" Well, of course he got to take his bath right then. Why not?
We ran his water, and he literally threw it in the tub.(it's a boy thing, I guess)  Maybe 2 seconds after the Turtlemeter hit the water the LCD screen took off the temperature going up and up. It started off blue..then turned to green where it stopped. Letting us know the temperature was safe. The built-in thermometer constantly displays the temperature along with 3 different screen colors. Red = Too Hot, Green = Just Right, Blue = Too Cold. There is no annoying alarm. If you notice in our picture the screen is blue, since we took this picture at the end of his bath his water was getting cold, time to get out.  The Turtle floats on the top of the water, but our Booper dunked splashed and poured water all over the "froggy" which is what he kept calling it at first. Now he's played with it enough he says, "Tootle"...close enough. This thing is durable! It has survived many baths with the Booper, so I can say that it's passed that test with flying colors!  Since it is sensor activated you never need to turn it on or off. The Booper thinks this feature is awesome. He loves pulling the turtle out and watching the screen turn off, then he throws it back in the water for the screen to turn on.

I would have loved to have one of these when the Booper was a baby, I was always a nervous wreck about the water temperature. I would check it over and over, but with the Turtlemeter, you know it's good without even seeing the number. Though you should always check the water with your hand, this would just have helped me not second guess myself so much! Never leave your child unattended.
For ages 0 and up, I give the Turtlemeter five stars! ~ Happy Bath Time!

Pedometer~My Review

Never having used a pedometer, I was thrilled to have the chance to review this one. The 4x razor Digital Pedometer, has been great as my first ever pedometer. I was a little intimidated by it's awesomeness at first, but now I'm loving keeping track of my steps through out the day. I love that is so small and lightweight, I don't even notice it hanging on my T-shirt, until the Booper decides he should be wearing it.
Check out how thin the Ozeri Pedometer is!

This Ozeri Pedometer records:
  • Steps
  • Distance
  • Calories
  • Fat Burned
  • Exercise Time
The distance feature is nice, I like having a way to keep track, so I can try to do better each time.
You set your weight and stride length to get accurate readings. To see more of the great products offered by Ozeri check out their facebook page Ozeri.
Watch my first video review. It's pretty short and sweet, since I was a bit nervous! :-D
These are two amazing products, I'm thankful Ozeri gave me the opportunity to review them.
Ozeri has generously offered to give one of each of these products to one of my readers!

  7. I have a different brand pedometer and the clip does not work. I am thinking of getting a new one and this one looks super nice! Since I wear skirts that do not always have pockets I need a clip that will not slip. Great video!
