What is a softish throat drop?
They are a delightfully soothing throat lozenge created by J Herman Pine in 1870. Using simple ingredients and inspired by his need to soothe his own sore throat and help his family he discovered these most unique and soothing softish drops. Pine Bros. has came a long way since that small confectionery shop in Philadelphia. Acquired by Victoria Knight-McDowell in 2011 Pine Bros. recipes and packaging was thoughtfully returned to it's former glory with simple yet classic designs. Happily after 15 years Pine Bros. are back!
What do I think of Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops?
I love that they are long lasting! Just one drop will last a long while if you don't chew it. (which isn't recommended anyway) The Natural Honey flavor is light and great for those not wanting a fruity flavor without giving up it's soothing quality. I could really feel it coating my mouth and throat which soothed the dryness. Wishing I would have had these back when I worked in a factory! The air in the factory was always dry and I was always chewing gum or candy to try to keep my throat moist, but Pine Bros. would have worked wonders. My favorite flavor is the Wild Cherry. I don't usually go for anything flavored Cherry but these were really good. The refillable Puck is the perfect size to throw in your purse or stick in your pocket for when you're on the go. As with any medicine keep out of reach of children and ask your doctor before giving to a child under 3. I keep these out of the Booper's reach. With only 5 calories a drop you won't have to break your new year's resolutions either!
Soothing America's throats for over 140 years I enjoyed these softish throat drops from Pine Bros.
