Beauty Spot Products Offer Great Gifts and Family Fun for Everyone!

A few days ago, I caught my 2-year-old daughter sipping imaginary coffee in her play mug with one hand and digging into my makeup bag with the other. As I stared in shock at my little baby as she smeared my dirty, old makeup sponge across her perfect little face, I realized - kids really do watch EVERYTHING you do. ALL THE TIME. And then, COPY IT (for better or worse – I have to work on my cursing)! So, I thought I’d plan us a little “girls’ night” to show her some tricks and let her try some makeup specifically for kids (and give me the opportunity to refresh my outdated, heavily abused makeup kit of my own).

I received the products mentioned below in exchange for this post. All views and opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.
Beauty Spot on Amazon has pages and pages of awesome choices, but the Totally Friends Kids Pretend Makeup Monkey Vanity is perfect for my daughter’s first makeup kit! The compact contains eye shadow, lip gloss, glitter powder, and applicators - perfectly sized for smaller hands and with bright, sparkly colors for big imaginations. There is no mom-guilt either because the makeup is non-toxic, washable, and light enough that they can spread it on thick and it still is removed easily with a makeup wipe. This palette is safe way for my daughter to engage in creative play, do her makeup “just like mommy,” AND while she is focused on her eyeshadow, it gives me a chance to give myself some attention!
I tried the My Beauty Spot Salon Quality Beauty Blending Silicone Makeup Sponges – a huge upgrade from the hunk of concealer-stained, mushy messes that were formerly residing in my makeup bag. The variety of shapes, sizes, and the super soft silicone material worked great for applying my makeup smoothly and evenly. I also loved that they were so easy to clean - just a quick run of warm water! Not to mention, they were fun to squish while we were doing makeovers.
At the end of the night, we used the Tuscan Hills 60 Count Aloe Vera Infused Facial Wipes for a gentle, fragrance-free way to clean up before bedtime.  I even tossed my husband, who had wandered into the room trying to figure out what was keeping his toddler and wife so entertained for over an hour on a Monday night, one of the M.Black Signature Series For Men Facial Cleansing Cloths Infused With Retinol, Collagen, Vitamin E, & Menthol and a My Beauty Spot 5 Pack Moisturizing Facial Mask Infused with Green Tea so he could join in for the finale of our “girl’s night.” As my daughter mimicked my husband and me with our goofy-looking (but actually pretty luxurious) face masks in the mirror, I thought, even though my daughter copies some of our bad habits, it is pretty cool that she copies the fun ones, too!
Overall, Beauty Spot really does have something for everyone on your holiday list. The products are quality, the packaging is great for gifting and the best part? Most are Amazon Prime eligible, meaning you can get those gifts (don’t forget a few for yourself) in just a few days turn-around. I highly recommend their products – they have something for everyone in the family – including my husband, who swears his beard is “super soft” after his face mask! What a diva. 1. How cool of a mom you are!! love this post! Although I love my sons and grandson to the moon and back, sometimes I wished I had a little girl around to play make-up and girl's night out. It's peace of mind that there are safe and non toxic make up out on the market such as Beauty Spot. Thanks for the review!

  5. The picture of your little girl putting makeup on you is a precious keeper!! 💕
I have used aloe for years, but straight from the aloe Vera plant. If the kids had burns or a bad zit, or a cut (especially one that could scar), I cut off a piece of the plant and put the juice on the affected area. It has worked for years! My mom used to give me some Shaska aloe Vera juice to drink, but that was years ago! This is a good product!
