Becoming A Mom. {Mother May I Giveaway Hop}

This is a terrible photo of me, but it is one of my absolute favorites. It's a picture of the first time I held our son "The Booper" in my arms. I was one of the last people in the room to get to hold our little peanut after he was born. My arms were weak and I had no feeling from hours of labor and the epidural gravitating to my upper body. I had to kiss his head while others held him, then gloriously I started to feel my arms again, and I had to get my hands on our sweet baby. Becoming a mom has been one of the greatest trials and triumphs of my life. Five years of infertility issues, so much doubt, so much worry, hours of labor, then an emergency C-section led me to this moment in time with our baby boy. I love reading how other couples became parents, but our story is my favorite.
