We recently went to Virginia beach, and this was our son's first real ocean experience. We had taken him to the beach in Massachusetts, but he was only 8 months old at the time, and it was bitterly cold. At Virginia beach we were able to sink our toes into the sand, and the Booper LOVED it! Nothing quite like being at the beach with the sand between your toes.
