Don't be shy...go on and show those pearly whites!

I remember losing my baby teeth when I was a kid. The first one to get loose was a bit scary, but before long I was trying to get my teeth to fall out, so I could have a visit from the ToothFairy! You naturally lose your teeth as you grow, but unfortunately for some children tooth decay will be the reason for loss. Did you know that tooth decay is the #1 chronic childhood disease? There are so many children that suffer daily from tooth pain, they are unable to eat, sleep and learn. You know how bad a tooth ache hurts. While severe tooth decay is a growing problem, it is also treatable, curable, and preventable through basic education and proper oral hygiene practices.

The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF) is taking a stand against tooth decay, by spreading awareness and teaching good oral hygiene. I learned that the NCOHF has a fun program just for kids, where they can get a personalized letter from the ToothFairy. How cool is that? I would have loved this as a kid. There are lots of ways to get involved, and educate your child.
To learn more about this program and sign your child up just visit America's ToothFairy Kids Club.
If you don't have children, or you are a parent who hates the thought of  other children suffering pain from tooth decay or other oral hygiene problems. There is place for you to make a donation of just $10 to help a child. Donations are not required to join the club, but are greatly appreciated!

  1. Actions speak louder than words, so showing them the daily activities of brushing teeth is the best way to teach.
