Rock 'N Learn~Sight Words (DVD Review and Giveaway)

Not long ago we had the opportunity to review the Rock 'N Learn "Alphabet" DVD. The Booper loved watching that DVD with all the great songs and letter introductions he's been talking about his letters every since watching it. Now we were offered the chance to review Rock 'N Learn "Sight Words" children's DVD I was anxious to see if his entlhusiasm for learning his letters would still be there, but I also wondered if sight words would be over his head. 

We received "Sight Words" in the mail and once again the packaging did not disappoint. With colorful packaging and bright happy characters on the front the Booper was excited to watch his new movie. Boop was quick to point out the guy holding a guitar on the front ," He's just like daddy!" since my husband plays guitar he automatically thought this guy was cool.

As you can see in the picture up above the Booper likes to jump on his mini trampoline while watching his movie. I thought it was cute each time a new word was introduced the Boop would stop jumping to pay close attention. He was intent on watching this from start to finish the DVD never lost his attention which is really saying something! I love that they highlight letters and talk about the words so he is getting refreshed on all his letters at the same time. Another cool thing about this DVD worked on introducing new concepts such as opposites. Right along with learning the sight words he was also learning big and small, up and down. With Rock 'N Learn the songs and music are fun and exciting and keep his attention while learning new concepts. I've been impressed with both DVDs we received and how fast the Booper started catching on. I love that this DVD will grow with him and possibly give him a step up when he starts learning to read. ~Becky
