Bird Bouncing Blast {Hasbro Review & Giveaway}

Hasbro is at it again with a fun new game that's a bird bouncing blast! We were excited to receive the new Angry Birds Star Wars Millennium Falcon Bounce Game free for the purpose of review. I wasn't sure at first if the Booper would show much interest in this game since he hasn't had any experience playing any of the Angry Bird apps, but I should have never doubted. He loved this.

Game Set Up: How the birds flew the coop.
At first when I pulled out all the pieces I was thinking it was going to be a complicated set up, but I was wrong. With the Booper's help (he enjoyed punching out all the cardboard pieces) we had the game station ready in about 5 minutes. Then we got to decorate the Millennium Falcon with stickers! This was my favorite part of the game set up. Since the instructions said to use the box as a back drop I let the Booper put the extra stickers on the inside of the box to set the scene for game play.

Game Features: Which came first the Angry Bird or the Egg?

  • Millennium Falcon Target
  • Base
  • 3 Game Balls-Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, and Han Solo
  • 5 Cardboard Pigs
  • 5 Plastic Stands
  • Stickers

Game Play: Angry Birds Attack!
Playing this bounce game is as easy as tossing a ball-or in the Booper's case throwing it will jet-like speed! The goal of the game is to knock over the "bad guys" or to land in the Millennium Falcon for points. Honestly with the Booper points didn't matter we just played and played until I was tired of chasing the ball around the room. He loved this action packed game, and not having knowledge of Angry Birds or Star Wars didn't make one bit of difference to his enjoyment. This game is made for children ages 8 and up, which seems about right to me for the age that could play alone and stay entertained. One or more players can play and take turns which would be a lot of fun for kids at a party.

Hasbro also sent us one of their Angry Birds Star Wars Foam Flyers this Darth VaderPig was lots of fun to toss and squish! The Booper didn't know what to think about VaderPig. He told me he didn't like him, which I thought was funny. The Foam Flyers are available in Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and Storm Trooper. I was hoping to receive the Chewbacca, but VaderPig is awesome too.
