Florsheim Style Meets Quality {Review and Giveaway}

Maybe it was the pumpkin orange mock shoelaces or the plaid that caught my eye, but I immediately fell in love with this pair of shoes from Florsheim. The Booper was excited when we received his new shoes, and I couldn't get over the stylish detailing on the Valco Moc Toe Jr. With a fashionable flair I didn't realize was possible with toddler boy's shoes the Booper found them easy to put on. He still asks for my help when putting on his shoes, but I've watched him do it by himself before. The really genius thing about these boots in my opinion are the shoelaces or rather the stretchy bands that look like laces. The mock laces on these shoes from Florsheim give boys with a high instep like my little guy added comfort while putting them on and taking them off. This pair the Valco Moc Toe Jr is available in 3 color choices and is made with a combination of genuine leather and fabric. I chose the Brown Multi and the other choices for this pair were Brown or Olive Camouflage. With a good sized sole made of rubber the tread works well for active boys like our Booper.

Our little man wore these boots to a wedding party for some friends who were married out of town, and everyone went on about how cute he looked. I know several people noticed his shoes, since finding stylish boy's shoes can be difficult these really stand out in the crowd. The shoes we chose look great with his jeans or with khakis and the muted tones seem to work well with the rest of his fall wardrobe.

I learned that Florsheim was established in 1892 by Milton Florsheim in Chicago, Illinois and quickly became a name associated with success and quality. I can see why they are still around today, I'm thoroughly impressed with all the little details that make these toddler boots a fashion staple. From the attention given to stitching to the packaging and cardboard inserts to help keep their form everything about Florsheim is made to please and impress.
