See Disclosure. Happy Holidays!
When you're looking for toys this holiday the name you need to keep in mind is SpinMaster. With a huge selection of toys and games for children of all ages, you're sure to find something to thrill that special someone on your list. I was excited to review some of their unique and fun Kawaii Crush toys for girls with the help of my niece. We had the pleasure of playing with the Hyper Happy Mall, and Amanda Panda Pop. Kawaii Crush is a fun line of dress up figurine toys for girls that offer them an outlet for self expression. I know from experience girls will have many 'crushes' or things they will love as they grow. These toys will feed that 'crush' so for a girl who loves animals the Amanda Panda Pop play set is the perfect gift!
Adding to the fun is the Hyper Happy Mall it's the hub for all things Kawaii Crush. As you can see even the Booper couldn't keep his hands off these fun toys. With lots of fun details this mall play set comes with tons of accessories and has several distinct stores where your dolls can shop and relax. Imaginative play will start with the fun themes created by Kawaii Crush. My niece (and the Booper) loved playing with Amanda and her friends along with the two-story mall. Since these pieces are small these sets are recommended for children ages four and up.
The Hyper Happy Mall includes:
- 1 Hyper Happy Mall
- 1 Exclusive Kawaii Crush Doll
- 3 Pets
- 40 Play Accessories
- No Batteries
- (ARV $30)
- Amanda Doll

- (ARV $14)
Offering several gaming choices SpinMaster sent us their action suspense game Boom Boom Balloon. Everyone gets a little nervous when a balloon is about to pop, now it's a game that will drive you to the edge of suspense with your friends and family! Recommended for players ages eight and up this is great idea for older children who want a fast-paced action game.
Game Set Up.
Set up is easy and requires very small amount of looking at the instructions. I had the game frame built in a matter of seconds. Tip- You won't want to fill the balloon too full of air as it won't fit into the game structure. The first balloon I just gave to the Booper since I filled it too full. (I'm sure there's a hot air joke just hanging there) Once you place the balloon in the bracket you put in the sticks. This game sort of looks like a torch-er device.
Game play is simple. Each player takes their turn by rolling a dice to get their number, then pushes in their choice of stick(s) for that amount of clicks. You can feel and hear and audible clicking sound as you slide the stick in on the bracket. It took a while before the sticks started really pushing into the balloon. I was surprised at how long the balloon held up before it popped. The anticipation of the balloon popping was killing the Booper so he left the room while I finished playing this game alone. Since he's only three I agree with the recommended ages on this game, it's too stressful for younger children along with the balloon choking hazard. I can't wait to take this game to the school where I volunteer after the holidays, the kids there are the perfect age so I know they're going to love playing Boom Boom Balloon!
- Balloon Frame
- 12 Balloons (with silly faces on them)
- 9 Sticks For Game Play PLUS A Bonus Stick
- Game Instructions and Rules
- (ARV $20)
I would recommend either of these fun toy and game ideas. Games are a perfect holiday gift idea since they encourage children to play together and can teach so many good life lessons. Find these and many other unique toys at SpinMaster. The Booper has been begging me for the Nano Speed track, and I happen to know he has a birthday coming soon.
