All-In-One Slow Cooker From Brylane Home Review

I don't know about you but I just love appliances that make my life easier. When I find one that I really love I tend to rave on about it. This is one of those times I can really emphatically say, "I LOVE THIS!" to everyone I know. Brylane Home has some of the most innovative kitchen appliances around like this 5 Quart Slow Cooker with Insulated Tote and Lid from West Bend.

I was most impressed with all the many ways I could use this cooker. Being the first time I've ever found a slow cooker that can also be used as a griddle it's so versatile. I've used mine to make slow cooker chicken tacos, and it was wonderful having a hot meal ready and waiting when my husband came home. The cooking pot is really a great size for our family and perfect for taking my favorite dish to family gatherings. When we have a get together I can simply put on the traveling lid and place in the insulated tote for easy carrying. I'm so excited to not have to worry about spills in the car like I did with my old cooker-plus the food will still be hot when we arrive!
With the non-stick cooking pot it was so easy to wash clean after our meal, but if we have left overs I can use the lid and put the whole thing in the fridge. Easy warming up the left overs the next day I simply remove the lid and place back on the slow cooker base. One more of my favorite things about this Slow Cooker is the pot can also be used on the stove top or in the oven! With two color choices I received the Silver, but it's available in Green as well. We have very limited cabinet space and this product replaces two of my old appliances so it's great space saver. I would have loved to have something like this when my husband and I first were married.

    can be used as a griddle?! And in the OVEN??! really? That's so awesome! I haven't had a slow cooker in about 3 years, since my last one stopped working. I would really love to win this one, I know it would last a long time! thanks for introducing this to me. If I don't win, it is going on my wish list for next Christmas, or maybe my birthday.     I like that it can be easily transported and that the base can be used as a griddle. Finally someone realized that these bases to appliances can be used to save space by turning it into another useful appliance :) Thank you for the review!

    I love that this slow cooker is 5 qts. I have two that are 3 qt and I always have to use both of them to make one meal. This would be a perfect size for us!

    My favorite feature is that the top can be used on the stovetop - easy to brown the meat and then just transfer it to the base for slow cooking.
