    I never knew that lava rock cleaned/filtered so much better than carbon. The lava rock reusable filter would be the best feature for me!

    I think the shredder blades are the best feature. The fact that you can break down the food so much before taking it out to the compost bin is a huge plus for me.

    I like that there is a crank arm so you have to do a little work yourself instead of using a battery

    I like that the shredder blades can be seen through the top and that they are self-contained, made of stainless steel and the blade can be removed fro quick clean up

    My favorite feature is the Slide-Out Eco-Drawer. I love that air flow waves promote circulation, shrink scraps, and reduce odor causing bacteria.

    I like 2 things really well on this unit. I like it has a crank arm so not electricity and I appreciate the suction cups so you dont have to 'fight' with it while you crank it!
