This Is Where I Leave You : When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide—driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.

ReplyDeleteI "think" I don't have a crazy family. Favorite family moment was watching football games together.
ReplyDeleteIt's not too crazy. We all get along pretty well. Most of the crazy moments are little accidents here and there. Like when my mom accidently got a sewing needle go through her finger.
ReplyDeleteI don't think my family is too crazy. Pretty normal I guess. My favorite family moment is getting together for BBQ's during the weekends.
ReplyDeleteSince I was an only child, my little family was not all that crazy! But wherever we went or whatever we did, we always had a good time and there was always a great memory to talk about!
ReplyDeleteWe have our crazy moments, but I'm so glad that I have the family I've got.
ReplyDeleteWe do have a crazy family. My favorite times are when we are in the car. My hubby is always doing something to make us laugh. We actually had someone tell us the other day that she loved seeing a family have so much fun so early in the morning. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI don't necessarily have a crazy family. I'm not sure what adjective I would use to describe it, but crazy is not it.
ReplyDeleteOur family is actually no different than other families. We have crazy moments especially during the Holidays. I have one relative who always says that he is familied out.
ReplyDeleteWe are not crazy.. we just like to have a good time.
ReplyDeleteYes, my family can be very crazy. We have those family members that you wonder how they are actually related to you! lol

ReplyDeleteMy family is pretty crazy! One of my favorite memories is of our road trips across the country when I was young. We'd laugh like crazy, fight, and sometimes get expelled from the car onto the side of the road if someone was threatening to be carsick...because no way was my mom dealing with vomit in the van. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe've always had fun wrapping gifts in ways that make it impossible to guess what they might be.

ReplyDeleteI think we have a bit of the old crazy in our line, favorite moment grandmother without glasses mistaking her brother for a tramp and refusing to let him in on a rainy night. Many years ago now, but the situation was only saved by yours truly aged 6 pointing out that Uncle Bill was getting soaked and sort of grumpy on the porch.

My family is pretty normal. I love when we get together for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteWe are completely crazy. Watching football together is when we are extremely out there. Constantly screaming throughout the whole event :)
ReplyDeleteWe love to be crazy. They call me Crazy Aunt Wendy
ReplyDeleteMy family is certifiably crazy. Here's a crazy scene from my childhood: My mother, on Thanksgiving, preparing a meal for 20 people, when my father decides his contribution will be to turn the rug in the dining room (after the table was set), then clean the fish tank, using the kitchen sink. Yeah, that's pretty nuts.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that my family is crazy, but we certainly enjoy being together! We love going on road trips and doing activities that are fun for the kids!
