Growing up I struggled with bed-wetting until about the second grade or around seven to eight years old. It was simply a night time symptom of the struggles I had during the day as well from a Kidney disease. It's funny how little I actually think about it now because of how well my mom kept it discreet and made me feel completely normal about the whole situation. It's given me a really great perspective on how to help the Booper as he has struggled with wet sheets in the morning.
I remember the first few nights the Booper came into our room crying that he had woke up soaked. He was confused and didn't even know what happened. After lots of hugs and a change of clothes I would strip his bed and wash his sheets. He now understands what is happening and we make sure he goes potty before bed but I understand that staying dry while sleeping is really out of his control. While he wets the bed less and less I've found having GoodNites *Tru-Fit* real underwear have helped to keep his favorite pajamas dry and he doesn't feel so gross when he wakes up after going in his sleep.
These machine washable underwear offer excellent protection with elastic ridges and the GoodNites *Tru-Fit* disposable inserts are super easy to use. I would flip the underwear inside out insert the liner and then turn back and he was ready to go. Parent Tip: Add the disposable inserts to a few pair and just leave them in your child's dresser so they can pull them out ready to go after bath time. This keeps the Booper from feeling like I'm helping him too much because at four years old. He can do it all by himself! Parenting is never easy but for me having personal experience with bed-wetting has helped me help my little guy as he goes through the same thing.
GoodNites *Tru-Fit* offers outstanding protection and has helped us have happy mornings waking up with dry sheets. Available for purchase at select national retailers GoodNites *Tru-Fit* is available for boys and girls and comes in sizes S/M and L/XL with colors and designs in size. The Booper is four years old and the S/M fit him really well. Download a $3 Off GoodNites *Tru-Fit* Coupon.
