Lots Of Laughs With LeapFrog #FitMadeFun

I received the products mentioned below for free as part of a #FitMadeFun party by MommyParties. All views and opinions are my own. See Disclosure.
Most kids want to move around and play they might just need a little encouragement to keep it fun. LeapFrog is always coming up with new ways to teach kids, you're probably familiar with their learning tablet the LeapPad. Did you know LeapFrog also has a way to help keep your child moving and active? Staying fit has never been more fun for kids than with the new LeapBand from LeapFrog. We were selected to host a #FitMadeFun party for kids to showcase LeapBand and show our kids how fun it is to stay fit. We invited our friends and I made some special treat bags using the Clif Kid Z Bar Protein bars from our party kit. When Saturday came around we were ready to party!

The LeapBand straps onto your child's wrist like a watch and has a large screen where they can see a cute pet. Their little dog or the pet of their choice will get them engaged in activities to get them moving. The more they play the more joules they earn, or as my nephew calls them "diamonds" because the icon looks like a gemstone. Quickly the boys learned to keep moving until the timer counted down to zero. They were fun to watch and after some hard core active play they were ready for a snack. We sat down and they scarfed down their Kid's Protein Bars from Clif Kid. The Booper likes the Peanut Butter and my nephew and niece enjoyed the Chocolate Chip. Now for the adults a few of the Chocolate Mint seemed to disappear from the treat bags..not sure what happened.

Some of the real fun happened after the party when the boys were on their own and started choosing to play with their LeapBand instead of sitting watching TV or playing video games. My sister called me the day after the party and told me my nephew had woke up early on Sunday and put the LeapBand on himself. When she walked into their living room he was jumping up and down and had broke a sweat earning the "diamonds" on his band. To me that tells the story of just how well the LeapBand works to help kids choose exercise.
