Our family's favorite blanket is a quilt pieced together by my grandmother with blocks that were embroidered by my great-grandmother. We've actually had times where my husband and I would play tug of war with that quilt because we both love how great it feels to curl up in it. My grandmother doesn't quilt like she used to since her hands aren't as steady now, but I still love the feel of anything handmade especially blankets!
