For A Natural Look: The Organic Face {Review and Giveaway}

Freckles. Yes, I have lots of them. In the summer time I don't go out without some type of sunscreen on my face, but every year without fail my freckles stand out. I'm not ashamed of my freckles, I've even grown attached to them. I just don't want my freckles to always be the focal point on my face. I've tried wearing lots of different types of makeup, but my sensitive skin ends up being the final judge for most of them. With so many of the liquid foundations I've tried in the past they would instantly dry skin out or my skin would feel greasy. I was excited when I learned about a new organic line of makeup from The Organic Face. Could it cover my freckles without making me want to scratch my face off? 

With my limited experience, I'm definitely not a makeup artist but I do my best. I try to go for a natural look, and my pale skin seems to look better with muted tones. I went with the Ivory color of Luminous Liquid Foundation from The Organic Face. I really like that they have a good variety of shades for all skin tones. The Ivory blended well with my skin tone and once applied I didn't have that "mask" look I've noticed on other women when their makeup doesn't match their skin close enough. The Femme Fatale Eyeshadow Quads offer four perfectly matched shades in each compact. I chose the compact in the Mesa colors, but could have went with the Downtown or Shabby Chic for the beautiful shade of teal. Only wearing the three products I received I was pleased with the actual feel of the makeup on my skin. Other than the Berry Shine Lip Gloss I couldn't even tell I was wearing makeup. My skin feels great after wearing this all day, I no longer have the urge to scratch or wash my face when wearing a liquid foundation. Huge win in my beauty book. My freckles weren't completely gone, but they were tamed down so you could notice my dark blue eyes.
