I received the below mentioned product in exchange for this post, all views and opinions are my own.
Starting Kindergarten is a huge step in life and for the Booper he's had to make several big steps the last few weeks. With a new baby sister on the way and moving to a big boy bed he's really had to step up to all the changes. He's been taking all in stride with his new shoes from Pediped. At five years old he hasn't learned how to tie his own shoes yet, so having hook and loop closures is really important for keeping him on the go. To be honest at this point in my pregnancy I can't bend down to help him with his shoes anymore, so we're thankful Pediped offers easy on styles in the Booper's size.
Offering shoes for each stage in a child's life Pediped features styles in Originals for infants, Grip and Go for Toddlers, and Flex for confident walkers like the Booper. Their great selection of shoes with hook and loop closures make it easy to find a pair that will get the Booper off to school without slowing down our morning routines. For our review we received the Jake in Navy also available in Black, Grey and Chocolate Brown. This style works well with the Booper's clothes and is the perfect school shoe for running around the playground or gym on recess.

Love the look of laces with the ease of velcro. Most kids - even when they know how - don't want to take the time to tie shoes. This offers a great option for older kids that don't want the "baby" look of velcro. They look well made and durable too.

I like that they close with velcro but look like laced up shoes.
