Can you believe it's already 2016? It still blows my mind how fast time flies. My baby girl is three months old and the Booper is about to turn six. I keep going back and looking at the pictures of him as a baby and while going through old pictures I found some fun ones from way back when I was a kid. Pictured above: that's me on the right being particularly silly while my mom tried to get a picture of us in our sunday best. Reminiscing about how times have really changed from those days, the cost of food, the way we listen to music and the type of music people like. I was certainly a child of the 80's! I can remember how back then I thought my dad was a super hero. He hardly ever got sick, but when he would have a belly ache he would yell and ask my mom if we had any of the "Pink Stuff" a.k.a. Pepto-Bismol. It took a lot for my dad to admit he wasn't feeling well so it always stood out in my mind. He would take the medicine and soon he would be back to flipping us kids over his shoulder and going for a walk with us down to the creek below our house. Those were simpler times.
It's funny how time changes so many things and yet some things remain the same. Just like Pepto-Bismol was the #PinkRelief my parents wanted back then it still works for me today. Now there are more ways to grab your relief with Pepto-Bismol's liquid, caplets, or you can try the chewables! So if you get the occasional upset stomach do what we do grab the "Pink Stuff" and find your #PinkRelief with Pepto-Bismol!

I remember pepto from when I was a child many moons ago. Its funny recently I went away with my grown daughter and bought some pep tablets. They did the trick.
ReplyDeleteWe always make sure to keep pepto in our medicine cabinet around here. It's a staple.
ReplyDeleteI think I"ve used this once in my life. No need for me.

That is a really cute childhood photo. I also remember using pepto bismol as a child, I was not a fan of the taste then and I am not a fan of the taste now haha. It is great for digest relief though. I think I would like the chewables better.
