Do you ever wonder what your pets do when you're not at home? I know I've sat and wondered what our furbaby Luna does while we're away. I'm excited to have a new trailer to share today. It’s for THE SECREFT LIFE OF PETS, the new movie from the humans behind DESPICABLE ME! Check out the trailer and enter for a chance to win a copy of this title on Bluray!
About the film
In their fifth fully animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead when we leave for work or school. Max, voiced by Louis C.K., is a loyal terrier living a perfectly happy existence until his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper) brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet) a big, boisterous mutt she finds at the shelter. When Max and his unruly new “roommate” slip away from their dog-walker, they find themselves lost in the urban jungle of New York City. In an attempt to stay ahead of animal control and a rebel band of abandoned pets led by an unhinged bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart), they put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home.
With an all-star voice cast including Louis C.K. (TV’s Louie), Eric Stonestreet (TV’s Modern Family), Kevin Hart (Ride Along Series), Jenny Slate (Zootopia), Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Lake Bell (TV’s Children’s Hospital), Dana Carvey (Wayne’s World), Hannibal Buress (Neighbors series), Bobby Moynihan (TV’s “Saturday Night Live”), Steve Coogan (Minions) and Albert Brooks (Finding Dory). The film is directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me franchise, Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax) and co-directed by Yarrow Cheney (Despicable Me franchise).

ReplyDeleteNot a fun memory but just a month ago we had to put down our 10 year old Golden Retriever. She lost the use of her back legs. She was the sweetest and most loving dog ever. She always had to sleep with one of her stuffed animals. I miss her so much!
ReplyDeleteI have a dog who likes to lay in my laundry basket.
ReplyDeleteI have a pet hamster. He loves to stuff carrot sticks in his cheek pouches, ha! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a labradoodle and she's very silly. One day my oldest daughter came home to find the dog sitting on top of my desk, which was ridiculous considering she weighs about 80 lbs!
ReplyDeleteI had a goofy chihuahua when I was married (he still has her and I get to see her) named Chloe. She is hilarious! She is tiny, but she rules the other dogs! If you stop petting her, she will sit and use her paw to MAKE you pet her! haha God bless and good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteIve had a dog named Niko!! He was the tiniest and quirkiest chihuahua!! he would curl up by my tummy every night while I slept. It was adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful Chow Chow pal, who loved to go in the car everywhere. I miss her everyday as she passed over the rainbow bridge, July 2013.

ReplyDeletebut when I was a kid I had a cat who would eat veggies
We have a dog (a puggle). She loves to snuggle and is definitely an important member of the family.
ReplyDeletewe used to have the best dog. she began as my husband's dog, but when i was pregnant she became very protective of me. by the time the baby was born, she was my dog! LOL
ReplyDeleteWe have a mixed breed dog. One day my college aged daughter had left her full length mirror downstairs and he sat there for ten minutes just looking at himself. She walks past and says "That's my dog."

ReplyDeleteI had a cat, a dog and a cockatiel
ReplyDeleteI have several very loved pets that are family. My dog Toby Tangles loves to run and jump in my arms every time I come home from somewhere.
ReplyDeleteOur Ozzy is so loveable! He's our black lab/border collie! He's been part of our family since my youngest was a baby...and he loves cheese probably more than anything in the world. He keeps me great company all day when everyone else is at work/school!

ReplyDeleteI don't have any pets right now. I used to have alot of pets :) I owned a dog, a cat, a rabbit, 2 gerbils, and some fish. I didn't own them all at the same time though. I did have the cat and the gerbils at the same time, which was very interesting at times, lol :)
ReplyDeleteWe have and have had pets. My best memory is one night my daughter snuck in ad slept on my floor and the dog woke her up screaming because he was licking her face.
ReplyDeleteWe have a cat and a bird and the bird likes to land in front of the cat and pace back and forth getting closer and closer until the cat tries to pounce on it and the bird flies away it loves taunting the poor cat
ReplyDeleteI had a lab when I was a kid. One day we came home from school and she came running up the hallway with a potato chip bag stuck on her head.
ReplyDeleteI have twin Westies... Fang and Bruiser. Our fence in the back yard is wrought iron with about 2" between the poles. Fang was trying to get out of the fence and got his head stuck between the grates. Bruiser didn't bark or come to find me - he sat about 2' away and just watched him for over an hour until I noticed them missing.
ReplyDeleteWe have a farm, so yes, we have a ton of pets. I think our silliest at the moment is Rusty. He's a huge pinkish-orange cat that sits like an old man. He never sits like a cat.
ReplyDeleteI have a 3 year old Border Spaniel named Chase, who is hysterical! When he gets fired up, he runs laps around our living/dining room (like 10 times)! He's fascinated by fingernail clippers. He's terrified of the word "bath" (he runs out of the room whenever he hears it). He's also very spoiled! He has his own box of Cheerios, and gets his own fried egg on Sundays. :)
ReplyDeleteI've always had pets. I have a dog, cat and fish now.
ReplyDeleteWe now have a long haired Doxie named Buddy. We love watching all the funny things he does, last funny thing was when we were watching tv and looked over because he had been quiet (unusual) and he had climbed up on top of the cabinet next to his chair and was sleeping, note: he did drag his blue blankie with him. He's so funny!! We love him so much!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a 1 year old Yorkie named Peaches. She's cute and fun. A funny thing about Peaches is that she likes to have her bum wiped after going #2!
ReplyDeletePrincess our Shih Tzu thinks she is a diva.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually down to just three dogs and three cats (until about 1-1/2 years ago we had five dogs and three cats, but lost one dog at that time, our senior girl just one year later, and in February of this year lost our senior cat, but I found a feral kitten who I bottle fed and who is now part of the family). I'd have a dozen of each if I could. I'm an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and I have always wondered what they do when I'm gone. I do have one of those cameras to keep track of them, but it's only in one room...
ReplyDeleteI've always had pets. Right now, we have two dogs and two birds.
