Dinner is a family affair in our house, we all like to get involved. My husband enjoys grilling food for our family when the weather is nice outside. While he works his magic on the barbecue I like to cook the side dishes inside and the Booper takes pride in setting the table. Setting the table is one of his "chores" to help the family. After he sets the table the Booper will go in and out the back door to check on his dad and to play outside while he waits on dinner. Leaving our back door open is like posting a huge buffet invitation to all the flying insects in our neighborhood. One of my pet peeves is sitting down to our family dinner and having a fly land on the table or plate. Who wants to be waving away a flying insect while trying to eat? Not me. We were needing a way to kill flies naturally without any fuss so we can enjoy our meals in peace. Introducing Zevo Flying Insect Trap, an indoor pest control for families needing an eco-friendly option.
Zevo offers families a modern pest control option that won't be an eyesore where your family enjoys their meals. We've had our fair share of fruit flies in the past so it's great to have a fly trap that is natural and effective. After plugging in our Zevo Flying Insect Trap unit we noticed a small fly trapped within minutes. The simple Zevo design isn't bothersome and doesn't emit any sounds or smell. You can plug the unit into an outlet anywhere you have trouble with flying insects. Our trouble spot is in the downstairs in our kitchen, but if we happen to have flies in the upstairs Zevo is easy to move! Once your Zevo cartridge is full or once every 30 days simply change it out with a new cartridge to keep your home free of flying pests.
The Booper loves the soft blue light that emits from our Zevo unit and I love that there's no chemical insecticide spray getting on the surfaces in our kitchen. With a seven-year-old and a toddler in the house, the last thing we want landing on our food while we try to eat is a nasty fly. Thanks to Zevo indoor flying insect traps we can enjoy our delicious meals without the unwanted guests!
Love this!! I've always wondered if these were worth getting. I'm definitely buying in the future!
ReplyDeleteI also like the color of this. I like how it emits a soft glow. I do however wonder how well it works, and if it is something that repels, if the bug is inside, wouldnt it just go where the light isnt? I would really have to see it in action .
ReplyDeleteI'm not an expert, but flying insects seem to be drawn to the light. Ours has been working well so far. It has several tiny flies or gnats and one regular fly on it. I plan to keep using long term with new cartridges and see how it does through the summer. So much better than swatting or nasty fly strips hanging around!
Deletethis looks so helpful and cool! Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great invention. Would have liked having this when I lived in Texas.

ReplyDeleteThis would be great to have in our household! I love that it's safe.
ReplyDeleteI see that it would be great for flies but I wonder how it would affect gnats, mosquitoes, and wasps. Would be awesome to have.
ReplyDeleteGreat product! Definitely buying this.

ReplyDeleteThis looks so simple and elegant so no one would know what it is! Sounds so promising this summer with bugs!

ReplyDeleteI've gotta try it out!
ReplyDeleteAwesome lots of bugs in our house that I want rid of.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds great! I hate spraying insect sprays
ReplyDeleteThis is a great answer instead of using a spray repellant. Love the idea and it is portable.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you don't have to use harsh chemicals to get rid of the little guys. Living in the woods, we have a lot of visitors in and out of the house. This would be a welcome addition to our home.
ReplyDeleteWow, this sounds like an amazing product! I cannot stand flys and mosquitoes in the Summertime. My youngest daughter is allergic to mosquitos so I am always trying to think of ways to keep them out of our home.
ReplyDeleteBugs are always around our house. This would be great!

This sounds so much better than having to spray that horrible smelling pesticide in your house. Now if they would just make one that kills spiders.
ReplyDeleteLooks more like a night light than a bug zapper so it would not be an eyesore in your house.
ReplyDeletewow i live in country and could use this for sure and then i could get the it pretty

ReplyDeleteGood idea. We always seem to have troubles with nats.
ReplyDeleteThis would be so nice to have especially during the summer. The kids are in and out of the house all day and usually keep the back door open and let all the flies in. Would be nice to have this instead of chasing them with the fly swatter!

ReplyDeleteThis is genius! I need one of these for our house!!

ReplyDeleteI had never heard of Zevo or this kind of trap before. This is great! Periodically there are fruit flies in the kitchen, and during the summer months my brothers are in / out of the house letting flies in. So this will be a great addition!
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea. My brothers are in / out of the house all summer, letting in flies, and it gets tiring trying to chase them down & swat them (the flies). This would be perfect for getting rid of them!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!! We have trouble with flies, gnats, mosquitos, and I know I am missing some, every year!! Like you, I don't like pests at our dinner table and I definitely don't like buzzing around my head when I'm trying to sleep!!
ReplyDeleteI see Zevo is available at Home Depot. I WILL be picking up one of these attractive bug nappers soon!! Thanks for sharing! I will be also.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of anything like this. Not only is it functional, it's also pretty.
ReplyDeleteNice design, may have to give it a try. I've tried similar products, but it didn't work on flying insects.
ReplyDeleteI am ready to look into this with the summer months and everyone going in and out including the flies. Cant stand them and this is better than be chasing a fly around the house.
ReplyDeleteI would love to vanquish skeeters! Thank you for the post!
ReplyDeleteI like that this looks like an air freshener. Much more aesthetically pleasing.
ReplyDeletethis is awesome, this is the time of year when bugs are so bad too
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the info!
ReplyDeleteThis would be so great since we do so much going in and out in the summer especially when my grandchildren visit.
ReplyDeleteI need this flying insect trap asap! This summer has been the worst for flies we've ever seen. Thanks for the info. :-)
ReplyDeleteI went to the Home Depot store about a month ago and couldn't find this and then, I forgot about this. But even though summer is almost over, this is the time for me to look for this again, because it probably will be on sale. I'll be ready for next year! Devi is definitely better looking than fly paper and safer than the Raid Flying Insect killer spray! TY for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great product... this summer has been awful for flies and mosquitoes
ReplyDeleteLiving in the country has its up and downs. I had never heard of this but it sounds like the best solution. Tysm for posting
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea and this will help with living in the country! Thank you so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis is so nice! I'm getting ready to move back into the country, I was getting freaky thinking about the bugs, this would be good to have!
ReplyDeleteHope this can work much better than the clear plastic bag hanging out the front door with water and a penny or 2 in it..
ReplyDeleteI have some gnats/fruit flies right now that could use this.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great love to try this
ReplyDeleteI need this with all these asian beetles invading my home!
ReplyDeleteI like that emits from the unit and the it has no chemical insecticide spray.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I will have to get this, I have been looking for something that will rid of flying insects. This sounds like it will be a winner for me.
ReplyDeleteI never knew something like this existed! We get fruit flies in our house in the spring and fall. I would love to use this.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see that blue light I know for sure it is something for me. Get rid of the pests!
ReplyDeletethe mosquitoes in my house are driving me nuts! Looks like it's time to buy one of these and get rid of them
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of these before! It might be worth considering!
ReplyDeleteChecked again at a different Home Depot for a
ReplyDeleteZevo to no avail. I’m going to check at this Menards. I’m shocked we really didn’t need it this year! It was so hot that either we didn’t notice the pesky bugs or they fried from the heat! I still want it & I like being prepared. TY
Sounds super fabulous!! I have a kiddo who loves to leave the patio door open so insects we have lol!! I love that this doesn't involve any nasty chemicals!!
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered if these things really work! Definitely need to give them a try because we have pets, and don't like using any kind of chemicals around them.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a semi rural area and get a lot of house flies. YIK! This year for some reason we had a swarm of fruit flies. Double YIK! I will be looking out for Zevo.
ReplyDeleteIt’s winter now. No bugs, but spiders right now. Which I hate ever since I was a little kid! Nothing should have beady eyes, fangs, 8 legs, and could spin a sticky web, when and wherever it wants! Yuk!
ReplyDeleteI don’t know what else I can say about this fantastic product, except that come spring, I hope I can find it. Theses stories are really good about ordering things, if they don’t have them in stock. TY Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if these actually work and now I know they do. I have a problem with fruit flies and this would work really well getting rid of them. Thanks for the great review.
ReplyDeleteSmart. Gotta try it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great, especially for households with children and pets! No chemicals is a big plus! The light helps draw the flies and other insects in- brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI’m still loving this bite and itching saviour that helps us humans who are insect meals!
ReplyDeleteI really need to try this. We have kids running in an out of the house during the warm weather constantly and seem to always end up with a fly or two in the house and it drives me nuts!
ReplyDeleteUsing this is great, but if you have drain flies, you need to clean the drain as well.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely try this the next time I have an issue with flying insects.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like it will help alot with the fruit gnats that seem to always be visiting our home.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this before, but I sure do need this. I hate bugs, flies, gnats, anything. I live in Florida, we even have those big flying roaches, boy it's a sight to see me running away from them and screaming.
ReplyDeleteI don’t know when, but summer should be coming and bringing all those nasty pesky bugs with it! ZEVO to the rescue!
ReplyDeleteI also hate flys and flying insects that slip into the house. Thank you for sharing that , I am going to look into getting it!
ReplyDeleteI need one of these for my home. I love the color too.
ReplyDeleteThis is way to cool
ReplyDeleteI love the color as well. Awesome that it works well in repelling flying insects.I will definitely have to get one this spring.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't familiar with this product, so I appreciate your review--it sounds like exactly what we need! Thanks
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try this!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea! Will have to try this!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. I have to have one!! Thanks for the info!!
ReplyDeleteI’m glad that this article reminded me to be on the hunt for Zevo again! We might miss Spring here all together, with this weather. Summer still brings those nasty pesky bugs! I don’t want to be one of their meals!
ReplyDeleteGreat was looking at one of these wasn't sure how well they worked glad to find out they do will have to pick one up
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe that Sunday is April already and we’re still having cold temperatures! I also can’t believe that Sunday is also April! The only thing that is good about this situation is NO bugs yet because I still don’t have my Zevo yet!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my pet peeves is bugs landing on my plate of food or buzzing around my head who am trying to eat! This is a true story! One time when I was trying to eat, a bee was on my food. I didn’t know or see it, until it stung me and fell out of my mouth! My husband had to get out the stinger - which was stuck on the inside of my cheek! So bugs around me or my food is a huge No! No! Zevo to the rescue! Thank you for sharing!
