Baseball season is rolling in and I can't wait for another year at the fields to watch our little league player! So many great life lessons can be learned while playing baseball. It's fun connecting with other families and baseball moms at the ballpark but I love connecting with my family on weeknights over dinner. Old Country Buffet, Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Country Buffet – and Furr’s Fresh Buffet are rolling out a new Family Night promotion featuring the popular movie, The Sandlot. When Scottie Smalls moves to a new neighborhood, he manages to make friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. Together they go on a series of funny and touching adventures. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence.

 Each Thursday, from March 29th through May 3rd between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., kids may participate in different interactive and educational activities in Ovation Brands’ restaurants and Furr’s Fresh Buffet locations. PLUS kids eat for $1.99 from 4 p.m. to close with the purchase of a regular-priced adult or senior meal.

April 5 - Hall-of-Fame Day
April 12 - Jersey Day
April 19 - Scavenger Hunt
April 26 - Home Run!
May 3 - Safe!

    I enjoy playing baseball more than watching. When I go to a game I have to get a hotdog and nachos.

    Baseball is fun, I've been to a few Red sox games and had lots of fun. I like hot dogs while watching the game!

    Can't say that I like baseball much... I think it's so boring. We used to go to a lot of basketball games and the food I enjoyed was the little pizzas.

    I love Baseball, not quite as much as my son...he lives & breathes Baseball :) The food at Petco Park, here in San Diego, is very good! I love the fish tacos & surf & turf burritos...the Hodad's bacon cheeseburgers and "frings" are really good, too!

    I like to watch my boys when they play ball. I however am not very coordinated, so I was never any good. I love frito pie at the ball field.

    I don't do too much baseball anymore but when I was younger my dad took us to see the Cleveland Indians and I remember the peanuts being so good and you were "allowed" to just toss your peanut shells on the ground.
