While practicing social distancing we've spent hours and hours inside our home on the rainy and cloudy days. Like many families with kids we've heard the cries and whines of boredom these past few weeks. We were excited to receive the ProjeX projecting game system for review, and it couldn't have arrived at a better time! The darkness of our house during cloudy days has been perfect for blasting away boredom with the ProjeX projecting game system. All you need to play the ProjeX is a dark room with a blank wall and it's game on!
Our son is 10-years-old and our daughter is 4-years-old and after I helped them put in the 3 required "AA" batteries (not included) into the ProjeX system they were excited to play. The cool part about this game system is you don't need a TV, and it can be played anywhere, even outside! We're hoping to go camping this summer, and I think this would be a fun game to take along and play on the side of a camper or tent. I've played a lot of blasting games and this one didn't disappoint. I found the aiming on the ProjeX to be accurate and the system scored properly as I blasted the moving targets on the wall. The kids have had a great time trying out the 3 included target cartridge slides. My personal favorite is the difficult level white slide for a good challenge.

The system projects the light with the image onto your wall and moves around making this a really fun blasting challenge. The system is light-weight and portable so our kids have played on several walls in our house. Their favorite spot to play the ProjeX is the hallway in the middle of our house,  I think it's a bit darker there so the images are very clear. We did have to read the instructions to figure out all the game modes, but the kids (even the 4-year-old) quickly learned how to set up and play on their own.
Change slides to change your level of difficulty:
Blue (targets) = easy
Red (UFOs) = medium
White (ducks) = difficult

Experience the excitement of a tournament or play solo. We like playing solo and watching each other play then we add our total and play another round and see if we top our last total. There are so many fun play possibilities.
