If there's one thing this past year has taught me, it's to be thankful for the little things. When we watch the news and when we see our world in crisis we can take comfort in the every day miracles of creation that surround us. With homeschooling our children I tend to focus a lot on reading and math, but the best part about homeschooling is being able to study the Bible with them throughout the day. The Booper is old enough that he can do most of his work independently because he can read. When given the opportunity to receive a copy of The Wonder Of Creation for review, I knew it was exactly what we were needing for his morning Bible time.
Many thanks to HarperCollins Christian Publishing for providing this product/product information for review. Opinions are 100% my own. I did receive the product in exchange for this review and post. The sponsor is responsible for prize fulfillment.

Our Thoughts
The Booper (11-year-old) has just been reading The Wonder Of Creation devotional for a few days, but already we both appreciate the snack-sized reading portions. This is perfect for a kid that doesn't want to read much and wants to get to the point quickly. I like to say, there's no sugary fluff these devotions are all meat and potatoes exactly what you want your tween to be digesting! The format is simple with four sections in each devotion; the Scripture, the Text, the closing Prayer, and a cool science fact section called Explore The Wonder. The Wonder Of Creation has an eye-catching design featuring colorful illustrations and actual photos throughout each devotion. I love that as my tween reads his daily devotion he's getting to open his eyes to the awesomeness of our creator and learn cool, weird, and sometimes even gross science facts at the same time. The Booper's quote about this book, "It's Cool. I like it." that's high praise from our tween. We don't own Louie Giglio's previous children's devotions Indescribable: 100 Devotions for Kids About God and Science or How Great Is Our God but after having our hands on The Wonder Of Creation we will likely be getting his previous titles for the future.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of sound mind. 11 Timothy 1:7 This is one of my favorites.
