It's Christmas Again in Theaters One Night Only on November 29th!

Many thanks to Mapelle Films for providing a free viewing this review. In addition, I received compensation for sharing my own views and opinions.

Do you enjoy watching movies around the holidays? I feel like some of the classics are centered around holidays, especially Christmas. Christmas movies offer so much drama and entertaining moments that we can all relate to. Being a big fan of musicals, I thoroughly enjoyed having my own sneak peek at It's Christmas Again, and you can grab your own tickets to watch it in theaters on November 29th.

Synopsis: Jake Young (Lawson Touliatos) wants nothing more than to spend his Christmas vacation with his girlfriend, Abbey Walker (Leela Owen). When Abbey volunteers for her church’s Christmas play, Jake is ready to skip Christmas this year until an unexpected turn of events lands him in a field outside Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born. While on his journey with the shepherds to find the promised Messiah, Jake discovers the true meaning of Christmas. Coming this Christmas season, IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN is a modern-day musical the whole family will love!

My thoughts

Opening scene this movie jumps into the music and singing which I really enjoyed. I was expecting it to be a little bit cheesy but in a good way and it checked all the boxes for me. You will get a bit of a Glee vibe as characters break into song randomly, but the story line will ring close to other classic Christmas movies. I had 3 specific song numbers that stuck out for me, the opening shopping scenes, the shepherd's song, and the dinner prayer song. There is a moral to the story that Christmas is about the birth of Jesus and with that we should try to help others. I did like the soft Christian message, however, I thought there could have been more about why Jesus came to save us and how to be saved. That said, I think Christians and nonbelievers can enjoy the feel-good songs and story line that we all have something to give. Secondary messages in the story are positive too. Christmas is worth saving because it's more than just a fun holiday for traditions.

Moms, do you want to focus on Jesus this Christmas? Take your family to see IT’SCHRISTMAS AGAIN on November 29th! Buy your tickets TODAY to see IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN in theaters only on 11/29!
