I can't believe that it's officially Spring! Our family started this year on a sad note with my father-in-law passing away in January. The really odd thing is he passed on the same day that my husband had a pulmonary embolism back in 2022. We are so blessed that Jim is still here, but losing his dad this year has been emotionally draining for so many reasons. We continue to move forward and I feel like the beginning of Spring brings that hope for the rest of the year. Our hybrid willow trees are budding with new leaves and our small pine trees have new growth and are filling out. We are still homeschooling our kids and with all that is going on in the world, that continues to be a choice we're happy with. How is your year going so far?
