When I was given the opportunity to try out some hair care products from Parnevu, I couldn't wait to see if they would work on my hair. I have extremely dry, wavy, stubborn hair. I'm usually skeptical when it comes to trying new hair products, because I've had bad experiences with products making my hair greasy or causing my hair more harm than good.
I was hopeful though with Parnevu. Thinking that trying a product with T-Tree oil might be the answer to my search for soft and manageable hair.
The first product I chose for review was the T-Tree Shampoo. Boasting that it would prevent flaking, and help lock in moisture. I couldn't wait to put it to the test. With the weather changing our house is always dry this time of year, and my scalp seems to dry out too. I suffer from an itchy, flaking, embarrassing scalp. The first thing I noticed was the consistency of this shampoo was different from anything I've tried before. The only word I can think of to describe it is, sticky. It lathered up nicely and seemed to leave my hair raw. I honestly didn't feel much difference with my scalp during the washing. When my hair was dry and fixed. I waited. Normally later in the day is when I really notice my scalp feeling dry and itchy. I never had that feeling after using Parnevu's Therapeutic T-Tree Shampoo. I used it for a few days, then switched back to my old shampoo just to check if it was the shampoo causing the change. Sure enough, my scalp was dry and I was scratching by that evening. The shampoo really helps with the dryness and itching. I can't say that it got rid of 100% of the flakiness, but using this shampoo over time might solve that for me.
The next product I wanted to try was the Leave In Conditioner for Extra-Dry hair. This had my name all over it. I used this on my damp hair after my shower. Hint: A little goes a long way. I would dab my fingertips into the cream, and run my hands from the root to the tips of my hair. Then I just styled my hair as usual pulled up in a sloppy knot. Initially I thought my hair was going to look greasy, but as my hair dried it turn to a silky soft. My grandmother and sister were over for a visit and I made them feel how soft my hair was. They couldn't get over how silky smooth this made my hair.My hair usually feels crunchy and straw-like, but not after using this. This did add an extra step to my hair routine which normally takes me about 3 minutes since I just don't do much to style my hair anymore. The extra time is worth the effort for the look I can get from even my very dry and damaged hair. My usual frizzies were gone, and I was left with silky soft hair. This will be a new staple in my hair regimen. Since a little goes a long way this is a great value in my opinion.
I give this Leave In Conditioner 5 shining stars!
The last product I tested was the T-Tree Break Control. This was not a product for me. I'm sure it might work well for other hair types, so if you have a problem with breakage it might work well for you.
Parnevu Hair Products have been a great find for me, and I will continue to use the T-Tree Shampoo, and the Leave In Conditioner since they work so well to tame my crazy hair. Thanks for that Parnevu! ~Becky
