What you might not know about most bloggers is we love to read other blogs too. Before starting my own blog I would love to just grab a cup of coffee, sit down and scroll through all my favorite blogs. Now that I have my own blog I don't have as much time to browse, but when I get the chance- I take it. Just like everyone else I follow my favorites on facebook. One day while going through my feed on facebook I noticed something that caught my attention, Color Me Crystal was talking about Dr. Pepper flavored coffee. There are two drinks I love, Dr. Pepper and Coffee, so  you can see why her post caught my attention. Naturally I commented on her post and had to go take a look at how to get some of that coffee. I left a comment on eKoffee's facebook page, and would you believe they reached out and wanted me to try their coffee? I was elated! Now here's the funny part, I didn't choose to review the coffee that first caught my attention. I know that flavored coffee must be good, so I picked 3 others to try out for myself.

If you've ever sat back and thought no one could love coffee more than you, let me introduce you to eKoffee. These guys love coffee! I had the pleasure of chatting with Jason from eKoffee, and his passion for freshly roasted coffee captivated me. I had no clue you could get coffee roasted to order and shipped right to your door. Well you can, and that's how eKoffee rolls! Always fresh just for you. The whole eKoffee concept is simple yet amazing. Small roasters from all over the US take your orders through eKoffee, then they roast, bag, and ship straight to you. It took just a couple days after I placed my order for review and I had freshly roasted coffee to try. At eKoffee.com there are several ways to select your coffee, by roaster, type, roast, and by origin. I browsed through the different roasters and I chose a whole bean coffee from Booskerdoo. To be 100% honest I picked this one for my husband, because it was a darker roast, and the roaster name was fun to say-Booskerdoo. Try saying it a couple times. Fun, right? We tried the Booskerdoo-Bali Blue Moon Organic from Indonesia and roasted in Monmouth Beach, NJ. This is a dark roast, we selected in whole bean so we could grind it up ourselves. I had to take a picture with our old antique coffee grinder below, but we used our electric to actually grind it up. This coffee was bold and dark...very very dark. I'm more of a flavored coffee drinker, so this was a bit out of league, but I think we put way too much coffee for the amount of water, so just know this one goes a long way. The flavor was strong and intense different from any coffee I've had before. After brewing our first pot of Booskerdoo we know how to make the next pot with less strength for our tastes. I love that this one is organic, so if you like to find whole bean organic coffee this one is for you.

I mentioned before the flavored coffee that caught my attention, so I chose two flavored coffees from the same roaster Patti's Place. Now when you see a name like Wobbly Pecan Pie, you know it just has to be good. Wobbly or not, this delicious Pecan Pie flavored coffee did not disappoint. When the package arrived holding our selections from Patti's Place, I stepped out onto our front porch to bring it in. I'm not joking when I say the smell caught my nose even outside. While brewing our first pot the aroma that filled our house was just like a pecan pie baking in the oven mixed with the addicting smell of coffee. Patti's Place uses a plain brown reseal-able package with a simple label.(Pictured above) Don't let the packaging fool you, this coffee is Ahhh-mazing! I could definitely taste the pecan flavors along with hints of chocolate with an overall deliciousness that was just like drinking desert. I did not think coffee could taste any better than Patti's Place Wobbly Pecan Pie that is until I tried the Rocha Mocha. Rocha Mocha from Patti's Place is roasted with beans from Brazil and features the tastes of, Macadamia Nuts, caramel, chocolate and maple. I chose this one thinking my husband and I would both like this flavor. I was right. We went through that pound of coffee so fast I've already purchased more! Personal note: I just want to say if I ever meet you "Patti" from Patti's Place I want to give you a hug! I used to always think fresh roasted coffee is better, but now I'm a true believer that fresh is the best. When ordering more of the Rocha Mocha, I also picked out another flavor from Patti's Place- Nutty Butterscotch Toffee. Just one more reason to rave about eKoffee, as a reviewer I get to see companies from a certain side, but when I make purchase, I'm just like any other customer. I have to say that eKoffee was wonderful all the way around. If you love coffee, and I know you do! Then I have absolutely no hesitation when I highly recommend buying your next pound(or two) of coffee from eKoffee.

  26. When I started, I used creamer. Then I tried it with sugar & creamer & really like it. Too much. 20 lbs too much. So then I went to straight black & that is how I drink it now. But if I'm having a flavored coffee, it's getting sugar & probably cream too, lol.
