Some people love coffee but I love tea! I start every day with a nice hot cup of tea and then usually fix some to take with me as I head out to work. In the past I purchased little plastic cups with plastic lids that were hard to hold because they were hot and the taste got lost in the plastic coated cup. Now I have the perfect replacement! Libre has created a wonderful poly container that is glass lined! The tea keeps it's great flavor and you get to drink from a BPA free glass.
About Libre Tea
We would like to introduce you to Libre Tea. Libre Tea products are for health conscious, eco-friendly tea drinkers who want to enjoy tea moments on the go or at home.

The Libre collection includes the 9oz. Original, 14 oz. Large and 10 oz Mug. The Libre tea glasses are thermal and have a glass interior, a durable poly exterior and removable tea filter. All our tea glasses are BPA free and great for any hot or cold beverage.

Did you know?:
· Loose leaf teas have a smaller environmental footprint than teabags – there is essentially no paper packaging for boxes or individual bags – and so much more flavour!
· Loose tea can be re-steeped multiple times giving you more value for your money – green teas can be steeped 2-3 times, oolong often up to 5 times, even black    tea can be steeped at least 2 times – making loose leaf tea very economical
· Loose tea contains more flavour and holds the flavour longer as the leaves are not crushed and broken unlike most tea bags that contain tea fannings and dust (cheapest grades of tea found at the bottom of the tea barrels).

For those of you who are purists in the taste of your tea and enjoy using loose leaf tea, this is a great way to have some to go. When opening the package I noticed right away how nice the tall glass feels. The cap and the filter fit nicely to provide a nice seal to steep your tea. I have to say I recommend watching the informative video on the Libre site. This helped me to understand the two ways to create that soothing hot tea when you need it. The cup fits into a standard size cup holder. Now when I need a great tasting cup of tea with no “plastic” taste added I will reach for my Libre Loose Leaf Tea Glass.

Give yourself the gift of delicious tea with Libre Tea glasses! Offered in three sizes you may choose the Original (9oz), Large (14oz) as reviewed here, or the Mug (10oz) all available for purchase at LibreTea.com.

  16. The benefit of loose leaf tea is that loose leaf tea has a much smaller eco-footprint than teabags. Unlike ‘bagged’ tea, loose leaf tea is sold by weight, easy to dispose of and biodegradable. It also requires minimal packaging, unlike bagged tea, which requires significant packaging resources and generates considerably more waste with its bags, boxes and plastic wrappers.
