Mom Powered Media, ELPH Band, and fantastic group of amazing bloggers have come together to bring you this event, just in time for Halloween. Do you worry about your child's safety when you're out and about? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you were separated from your child in a crowded place? ELPH Band might be just the thing you've been wanting to help give you some peace of mind. Read on about our sponsor and enter for this useful prize pack!
The ELPH Band is a link to your identifying information, such as your address, parent or guardian cell phone numbers and any other information you think is necessary, including medical conditions or drug allergies your child may have. Whether you're traveling to a theme park, zoo, park, a crowded festival or even the mall, the ELPH Band can help find your child in the event he/she gets separated from you. It only takes one second for a child to disappear out of your sight.
Being a bit of a worrier...what mom isn't? I like to always try to think ahead and be prepared I love the concept behind these bands and was happy to receive one try out for ourselves. The Booper was excited to have a new bracelet and quickly pulled it out of the box all by himself -of course. He was proud to show of this simple band and I'm happy to know he can wear this when we go out to busy places where a separation could occur. We selected the child size for the Booper since he's growing so fast and I didn't think the Toddler sizing would be a good fit. The band has plenty of room to spare but wouldn't fall off his wrist so it was a good choice. I love that these are available in adult sizes too, making an easy option for caregivers. A simple idea with an easy way to give yourself some peace of mind. During their early years when they might not remember a number to call mom and dad teaching them to show their ELPH band is easy!
The ELPH band is a non-toxic, durable, silicone wristband. It provides an immediate, highly visible form of identification with clear instructions directly on the band. It's easy to use with options to dial in or scan the QR code. ELPH Band does not put personal information, such as the child's name or phone number where people can see it when it isn't needed.

What does ELPH stand for? Easy Lookup to Phone Home

If your child get's separated from you, all your child needs to do is show an adult his/her ELPH band. That adult can then call the 800# or scan the QR code to get in touch with you to reunite your child with you! It's that simple!

Once the QR code is scanned on a smartphone, a screen similar to the one below will pop up for them to get in touch with you.
To set up your ELPH band you will register it on a computer, or by scanning the QR code yourself and setting it up via your smartphone. Just a few simple questions and you will be registered. Once completed, you will get a text and email alert letting you know the account profile is active, and to verify the information has been entered correctly.

  2. I learned that the ELPH band not only keeps the contact info for the parents it also allows you to put info like allergies or specific information that might be pertinent to someone who finds your child. I also learned that the QR code when scanned gives a GPS location which is pretty cool.

  8. Okay, so this actually does seem pretty cool. While I'm working with my kids on memorizing our address, they can still wander off sometimes! I love that it has both a QR code and just a phone number to call. Smart! Now, how to make sure they keep wearing it... lol

  13. Wow. This is incredible. Just this weekend, I didn't allow my 3 yr old to go to a theme park with my in-laws because I was concerend he'd get lost. This would be great since he no longer wants to ride in the stroller and only sometimes holds hands.

  19. Hello! I learned that it doesn't contain any personal information for "strangers" to read and that you can add additional information like allergies or medical conditions. I wish I would have had something like this for my son. Although, it'd be wonderful to have for my grandson!

  22. This is such a great idea - I was thinking about getting one of those temporary tattoos for our trip to Disneyworld but I really love that our information isn't prominently displayed with this band. Besides your review, I learned that it will also send alert messages that tell the emergency contacts when the ID was scanned and provides a current GPS location.

  23. I would have to say that I have learned that helps connect a lost child to his or her parent. This is great is situations such as the playground or the mall. I would love to have this to stay connected with my family

  24. This is a great safety product that allows a caregiver to feel comfort knowing their child can be identified in certain situation. Also a great cost for item and service.

  25. I learned that the child's name and address don't appear unnecessarily. I think that is an important feature!

  27. My daughter knows my phone number but is too nervous to tell it to anyone she does not know, especially if it is a guy. I like that it is nontoxic and that the bracelet can be scanned to get a phone number to contact me.
