When Kids Are Sick Amwell Helps Mom Save The Day

This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and Amwell. All opinions are my own.
We've all been there. Sickness never comes at a convenient time. Last month we decided to make a spur of the moment trip to visit family on the coast. The day before we were about to go out of town the Booper started coughing and sounded like he had a clothespin on his nose. I called our regular doctor, but it just so happened our doctor was gone on vacation. Busy with packing, making arrangements for Luna (our dog), and rescheduling deliveries, I had to tack on trying to find a clinic that could get us in. We don't have any clinics in our hometown, and the one I usually go to always has a long wait time. With the baby in tow and all the packing I still had to do I just didn't want to wait that long to see a doctor. I didn't really think I had a choice. I was wrong. Amwell was created for busy moms, and anyone who needs options for talking to a doctor even if you don't have insurance.

Creating an account is easy, and only takes a few minutes and you're ready to talk with a doctor. Real doctors in real time. On demand right when you need them.

  4. Sounds great, I hate waiting in a doctor's visit for 45 minutes only to see the doc for 10 minutes.

  5. A new twist on house calls too bad I didn't think of it. I think it's a good idea for when a doctor isn't available but the emergency room seems too silly and expensive to go to.

  10. What a wonderful idea! When your child is sick, they need to be home with you. You hate to get them out to sit in a waiting room. So convenient and sounds easy to use, too.
