Stamp Around Fun {Inkadinkado Review}

I was introduced to stamping back when I was young, but a few years ago it became my passion. There is just something so relaxing and peaceful about sitting down to a paper crafting project and creating something beautiful and unique. The great thing about stamping is no two projects are exactly the same the "flaws" give character, and that makes each note, card, or page special. I used to do stamping events working with others and have projects for everyone to do. We would all have the exact same materials, tools and directions to work with but it was always amazing to see each one's personality come out through their project! Reviewing Inkadinkado stamping gear was so much fun! Igniting that creative spark that makes me want to let the ink, paper, and stamping madness go all night!

Popcorn is a classic snack. We've all went to the movies and bought the overpriced, over buttered, make your fingers greasy, delicious snack! My family loves popcorn in fact the Booper used to call it, "Poppy", but now he can say Popcorn and he asks for it all the time. I'm happy to let him have popcorn at home it's a healthier snack the way we make it. I don't really go for all the gooey butter like I did when I was younger. Kettle corn is my favorite flavor.

Now that the Booper is almost 3 I love that he has started counting and saying his letters when he sees them (not that he always says the right letter). I work with him on his colors, shapes, letters and numbers, but sometimes I wonder how much he is actually retaining. When I'm working with him I try to keep it fun and make things a game. If I push him too much then it becomes work and he wants no part of it.

When given the chance to review Rock 'N Learn's Alphabet DVD for kids I couldn't wait to see what the Booper would think of it. He was so excited when we pulled the DVD from the package since the cover design is fun and colorful.

Easy White Christmas with Martha {a Review}

Sometimes decorating for the holidays can become a real challenge. I get tired just thinking about pulling everything out only to have to put it all away in one month. Still, I wouldn't miss this season for anything! This year I had help to give the Booper and I a hand. My niece and nephew came over to help us decorate our tree, and the house. Having three excited kids here made pulling everything out exciting for me too. Once the tree was leaning against the weight of all the ornaments, we sent the boys off to play, and my niece and I gave the house some finishing touches.

When I pulled out the Martha Stewart Crafts Glittered Snowflake mirror and window clings my niece starts chanting, "ooh ooh ooh..me me me!" We cleared away the everyday decor from the mantle and she carefully placed the beautiful sparkling snowflakes on the old mirror above our fireplace. Once she had them each right where she wanted them we placed the nativity in it's rightful place. I loved how she placed one snowflake above Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus to represent the star.

The Handmade Element {EK Tools Review}

There is nothing quite like receiving a card in the mail from someone you love, and it's even better when it's handmade! The handmade element makes any card a gift of it's own. Today, I'm reviewing the Snowflake Garland Punch from the ektools line from eksuccessbrands. Punches are one of my prefered paper crafting tools, and this one is a new favorite! This large snowflake can be used to make a festive garland by simply interlocking the snowflakes or by adhering them together. The punches from ek tools are great because they will lay flat and are stack-able! Plus, I love that you can see the image right on the front of the punch so finding the punch you're looking for couldn't be easier! I decided to use this punch to make some festive Winter cards.

When making my holiday cards I love using non-traditional colors, and this year I went with a celery green and gray color scheme. First I chose my designer paper, then I coordinated with a matching green card stock, and I chose white for the snowflake punch out.

One of the fun things about being a mom is finding adorable clothing and shoes to dress your child in. I remember my excitement with the first outfits and little shoes I purchased for the Booper when he was a baby, it was a thrill. Having a boy I've always noted the selection for boys clothes and shoes is much smaller than the selection for girls clothing and shoes.
